I usually try to work with more than one method and different software, both paid and free, so everyone can use the tutorial. By now, some methods won't be available, but I'll add them when I have the time to do so. I'll add the software to the list as I add the methods.

1) ArtCursors v5.16
An Excellent software by Aha Soft-Team, great for making cursors and pixel art. 30 days free-trial. After that, you'll have to either uninstall it or buy it for U$ 39,95.

2) MS Paint
Still one of the best programs to create pixel art, believe it or not. It comes with Windows.
Ainda é um dos melhores programas para fazer pixel art, acredite ou não. Vem com o Windows.
3) GIMP
Freeware software which has resources similar to the Photoshop ones. Although it's not recommended for drawing t pixel art (as Photoshop), it's great for animating pictures and adjusting hue/ saturation/ lightness.
Software gratuito que possui recursos similares aos do Photoshop. Embora não seja recomendado para desenhar pixel art, é ótimo para animar imagens e ajustar matiz/ saturação / luminosidade.

4) UnFreez
Freeware software for animating (you don't draw in it, just put the frames together in order and set up the frame time). Very easy to use, but it doesn't have many options / features.
Software gratuito para fazer animações (você não o usa para desenhar, apenas para colocar os quadros em ordem e ajustar o tempo de exposição). Muito fácil de usar, mas não vem com muitas funções / opções.
