Welcome to UCLA Maya Archaeology Project (UMAP) in Belize.
Our investigations of the Maya centers of El Aguacate in western Belize are set to begin on June 27th, 2010.  Last summer, the amazing discovery of a second even larger site was a highlight of an incredible field season.
