Welcome to UCLA Maya Archaeology Project (UMAP) in Belize.
Our investigations of the Maya centers of El Aguacate in western Belize are set to begin on June 26th, 2011 and run 4 weeks to July 23, 2011.  Last summer, our research and community work was incredible.  Please see the slideshows here and elsewhere for more information.
