Hi

My name is Louisa and I own and run Ulnes Walton Dog Training club. For many years I have always had a fascination with dogs and currently train several of my own for competition obedience. I handle show dogs in the breed rings up to championship level and compete regularly with my own Chihuahuas.

During the lessons we train using only positive, reward based methods. Our aim is to help you overcome the various problems that can arise when living with a dog and to build a stronger bond between you and your four legged friend. All my heelwork to music classes are open to all breeds and ages of dogs with the foundation of all lessons first and for most being fun and relaxed for both dog and owner while they learn.

Qualifications I have achieved to date include Academy of Dog Training and Behaviour (ADTB) approved Gold level instructor, Grade 2 British Institute of Dog Trainers Course, First Diploma Animal Care, Advanced National Certificate Animal Care, which included a behaviour module, ABC Certificate in Small Animal Care which included animal first aid, dog and cat management, Pet store Management Certificate. All of the above achievements included a written and/or practical assessment to pass. I am currently planning to further my education by completing the puppy training certificate, canine care certificate and canine behaviour certificates.
