UL Judo Club took part in All Ireland University Judo Championships on 19 February 2011 @ DCU Sports Centre, Dublin 5 medals were won in the next categories: 1x gold in Women's -52kg 1x gold in Women's 5th Kyu 1x gold in Men's 5th kyu 1x gold in Men's -81kg 1x bronze in Men's Open -------------------------------------------- We won 1x bronze medal in the women's -52kg category on 22 January 2011 @ the All Ireland Championships in Killarney!  -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Training times: Mondays @ Claughan Club, Childers Road, Limerick from 19:30 to 21:00 (admission per class: 7 Euro; UL students: 2 Euro) Thursdays @ UL in the PESS building from 20:15 to 21:45 (admission per class: 2 Euro; UL students: 1 Euro) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- UL Judo Club currently has in excess of 25 members with a mixture of beginners, intermediates and black belts. All beginners are welcome to attend and non students of UL are also welcome to join.
