November 2009:
Networking meeting held in London. Included short presentations by
Dr. Mahtab A Farshchi, Senior Lecturer in Economics, London South Bank University on "Issues relating to price determination in property markets". Martin Rafferty, Researcher at London South Bank University on 'Understanding the UK property market using a structural, systemic analysis'. In addition to hearing from ouir speakers this informal gathering provided an opportunity for members and interested parties to meet and network with colleagues. June 2009:
Fourth Networking Event held at
The Lowry Threatre, Salford, Greater Manchester.
The event began with two presentations looking at a systems approach to strategic planning in the construction industry from The Centre for Construction Innovation and Salford Business School. This was followed by the UK Chapter of the System Dynamics Society hosting an informal evening of talks and networking.

11th Annual Gathering of the UK Chapter of the System Dynamics Society held at London South Bank University, including the 2nd Student Colloquium.
Presentations and speakers included:

Graham Firth, Asset Strategy Director at Bristol Water, Paul Gisborne of PGA Consulting and Robert Thurlby of Serco Solutions: How SD Contributed to Bristol Water's Strategy Douglas Mckelvie, Symmetric SD, Savas Hadjipavlou and Samantha Hinks, Ministry of Justice: the Use of SD in the Ministry of Justice. October 2008:
A third Networking Event was held at The Old Bank of England, 194 Fleet St, London, EC4A 2LT
These informal gatherings are a great opportunity for members and interested parties to meet and network with colleagues. These events are great occasions for catching up with the current work of your colleagues, meeting the policy council members and finding out whats new in UK SD. A private room was booked from 6.30pm onwards.
