To assist students in preparing for the career fair, the CUPPA Alumni Association is coordinating the following alumni workshops:
Alumni Workshops - Tuesday, February 24 4:00pm Career Stories of Alumni 5:00pm Resume and Portfolio Workshop 8:00pm Networking Event at Jaks' Tap Alumni Workshop - Wednesday, March 11 4:00 pm Interview Skills Role Play 5:00 pm Mock interviews w/ alumni and students CUPPA Career Fair 2009 – Friday, April 3th (10am-2pm) The CUPPA Alumni Association is inviting representatives from organizations in the Chicago area who are recruiting for full- and part-time positions as well as internships. Last year the career fair brought recruiters from a vast assortment of agencies. Some examples include: Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) Metropolitan Planning Council City of Highland Park Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP) Metro Water Reclamation District Center for Neighborhood Technology This year, CUPPA will hold UPA, PA and UPP career/internship fairs simultaneously (but on separate floors in CUPPA) to allow for students in both programs to meet with all employers in attendance. Come out to one or all of these events and take advantage of the wealth of knowledge offered! Volunteer with Chicago Cares on January 17, 2009!!!
Dear All, On Saturday, January 17, join 4,000 volunteers as we build a better Chicago, all to honor Dr. King's legacy. Through his words and examples, Dr. King inspired a new generation to better their communities. At the Celebration of Service, we challenge you to move from words to deeds through service to your community. Together, we'll build and strengthen our city. Volunteer at one of more than 50 projects taking place all across the city.
- Build communities by sharing life stories and leading activities with seniors - Improve communities through neighborhood beautification efforts
