President

My name is Cherry-Ann Guerrero and I am the president of the American Marketing Association.  I am currently a senior, double majoring in Marketing and Finance.  I have been with AMA for 2 years and so far it has been one of the most beneficial learning experiences of my college career.  I am currently interning with Tribune Company as a marketing research analyst and hope to further pursue my career with them in the future. 

My name is Tina Marie Rodvong.   My current position is the Vice-President of AMA.  As VP, I deal with the internal organization of AMA and assist our fabulous President run our student org.  I am a senior (graduating in May 2008!!!) Marketing major with an Economic minor. 

Treasurer

I joined the American Marketing Association in order to become more involved at UIC.  I am happy to say as AMA’s Treasurer I have found a place where I can use my accounting knowledge to learn new skills and to benefit the club at the same time.  I have had a lot of fun in AMA and I am extremely grateful for the chance to meet so many great members and presenters.  I will always treasure my time in AMA.  Sorry for the bad pun.

My name is Lopa Pandya. I am the Director of Public Relations for AMA. I coordinate guest speakers to come and talk about internship opportunities along with full and part time job opportunities. Hmm, so a little bit about me. I am a Marketing major with a minor in International Business. I LOVE to travel. I've been to over 14 countries. India, Italy, Greece, England, Switzerland, Mexico, and Jamaica..just to name a few! I live for trying new things and having adventures, especially ones with my "eboard buddies" :)

Director of Communications

Tim is an Accounting major who graduated from Maine East High School in 2005.  He plans on earning his undergraduate degree from UIC and his Master of Science in Accounting from UIUC.  He enjoys Accounting but loves the Marketing majors!  His hobbies are: Lifting, playing basketball, e-mailing, going out, studying and watching movies.

 Director of Advertising

 My name is Linda Khauv. I am a senior at UIC, double majoring in management and marketing. Currently, I hold the position as the Director of Advertising for AMA. It’s great! I get to design flyers and posters for exciting AMA events!!! It’s pretty cool seeing your designs posted and recognized. Being a part of the E-Board has been great! I have met some fabulous people who I always enjoy laughing with!

 Director of Venture Projects

My Name is Suzanne Salah and I am the Director of Venture Projects.  That pretty much means that I am in charge of the social events and of the fun things AMA does!  I am a senior double majoring in accounting and finance.  I know I know it has nothing to do with marketing but I met a lot of amazing people and had some great college experiences because of AMA!

 My name is Vrunda Thakrar.  I love being a part of the AMA e-board, the members are fabulous and there's never a dull moment. I will be graduating in May '08 with a degree in Management.

My name is Leo. My major is marketing I’m expected to graduate in December 2008.  I plan to open my own business after graduation.  My current position in AMA is director of fundraiser. 

Director of Programs 

Kristin Poleski serves as the Director of Programs on the UIC AMA Executive Board. Her essential function is to work with both the fundraising and advertising departments, although she is more heavily focused toward fundraising. A Chicago native, Kristin is a senior at UIC, who plans to graduate in May 2008. She is a Marketing/Management major and hopes to attain a position that will allow her to help disadvantaged and minority youth throughtout Chicago.

 Executive Officer

 My name is Nancy Wong and I am currently a junior, majoring in Marketing. I am one of the Executive Officers and I take care of most of the paperwork regarding the organization such as registration, booking meeting rooms, bake sales, and booth space located in the SCE building. My hobbies include eating (yum!), drawing (fun!), bowling (Bring it! Grrr!), and spending time with family and friends(^o^)! I love being on AMA Eboard! It's a great opportunity to meet so many different personalities, but still find a common ground amongst everyone. They're my  second family and I love you all!

My name is Nabeela and I am currently the Executive Officer for the American Marketing Association for the UIC Chapter. I am a current junior here at UIC majoring in Economics. I love getting involved with campus life and meeting new people.  The American Marketing Association has been an opportunity where I have been able to network, grow new friendships, and learn exciting tips on how to approach the business world. This organization has brought the best out of me and I know I will keep these great experiences with the American Marketing Association for years to come.
