"Advocating for NOCCCD Faculty"

President's Message

To: United Faculty members
Date: May 31, 2011
RE: Resignation--Pres., V.P., Sec.

Dear Colleagues and Friends:

We are pleased to inform you that members of our United Faculty Board feel strongly that they are able to lead us forward and achieve a greater future for all of us. We have chosen to step down and allow them free, unequivocal reign to represent all of us and defend our working conditions, salaries, medical and retirement benefits during these difficult financial times. We sincerely hope you will give them your full support and recognition for their efforts.

We have enjoyed fulfilling our public service obligations by providing leadership for our mutual cause during the last few years. We have turned in all our official documents to our UF offices, and sent official letters of resignation, along with our office keys, to the proper officials.

We look forward to working with all of you in the future to continue to provide outstanding learning opportunities for all of our students. We are very excited about having considerably more free time to spend with loved ones and friends.

We wish you all the most pleasant summer, and a great future!

Warmest regards,

Fola Odebunmi, Les Doak, Linda Borla
