uFind is a self-help information kiosk for the University of Montana bookstore. A successful implementation of this product would (hopefully!) help patrons locate and retrieve items from the bookstore. This system prototype was created in the spring of 2010 for CS 576: User Interface Design as part of an exercise to teach the basic principles of user-centered software design. The steps in the design process included: - Low-Fidelity Design: First Concepts and Sketches
- Iterative Design: Collaborative Evaluation and Refinement
- Prototyping: High-Fidelity Implementation
- User Testing: Real-World Assessment
- Reflection: Design Summary and Presentation
