Founded in 1959, ACDA is a nonprofit music education organization whose central purpose is to promote excellence in choral music through performance, composition, publication, research, and teaching. What Do We do? Specifically in the UD chapter of ACDA we plan events such as workshops, hosting the ACDA honor choir college festival, Messiah Sing, and much more to advocate for the arts and elevate choral music’s position in American society. Who Should Join ACDA? If you are a UD student/faculty member, a choral/general education major; if you enjoy teaching, composing, performing, publishing, or researching choral music; if you simply LOVE choral music, then you should definitely join ACDA! |
