Welcome to UConn's Women's Ice Hockey Club (2011-2012). Our aim is to provide women at the University of Connecticut with the option to play competitive, non-varsity ice hockey in Connecticut and the surrounding area. Here, you'll be able to view our schedule, game reports, and photos from the current season, as well as receive information about our club if you are interested in joining. Links at the bottom of this page and on the sidebar to the left provide access to photos, our schedule, and various other pieces of information about our club. UPDATES - The 2011-2012 season will soon be under way. After a successful season last year, complete with a showing at the ACHA National Tournament, the team looks forward to the exciting year ahead. Check below for information on pre-season meetings and tryouts
COMING UP:
- 9/7/2011 from 2:00-7:00 p.m. -- UConn Involvement Fair at the Field House (next to the gym). Look for our table and be sure to sign up if interested! Teammates will be available to answer questions and provide information on their experiences with the team
- 9/8/2011 at 8:00 p.m. -- Informational meeting in the Student Union (Room 320). Anyone seriously considering playing should attend.
- 9/24/2011 from 3:45-5:00 p.m. -- Tryouts at Freitas Ice Forum on campus. Show us what you've got and become part of the legacy of UConn Women's Ice Hockey Club!
