There are two hotels in near proximity to the Student Union: The Nathan Hale Inn and a Best Western.

The first is the Nathan Hale Inn, the on campus hotel which can house approximately 1,000 guests.  We are currently working on getting a room block in order to receive a discount (and free parking :P) at the hotel, but for right now please call up the hotel at  1-860-427-7888 and reserve a room.
 

If there are no more rooms available in the Nathan Hale Inn, try the Best Western down the street.  The specific website for the hotel is: http://www.bestwesternconnecticut.com/hotels/best-western-regent-inn/

And, if there are no rooms available at either the Nathan Hale Inn or the Best Western, Storrs is only about a 30 minute drive from downtown Hartford.
