Brainstorming always goes better if you impose limits on your thinking.
Example:I have only 30 seconds of air time and I want to change the world for the better. What can I do?
Break the question down further into time and topic.
Possible topics.
Possible usage of radio time.
Who is my audience?
What do I want my audience to DO after they've heard the ad?
Identify a brainstorm discussion leader:
1. What's the question? 2. Individuals throw up answers on board 3. Pairs describe their ideas to each other and refine 4. Pairs present ideas to group 5. Group responds to each idea with I like because.../I don't like because... 6. Pairs synthesize what they heard in the discussion and write refined ideas on board
Repeat 4, 5, 6 until group comes to a consensus.
