Hey All,

We are having ADT this coming Sunday, March 8th!  HOWEVER, we will shorten it in consideration of everyone's intense final schedules.  Here is the tentative timeframe:

12:30-4:00.  That's three and a half hours, and also lunch/snacks will not be provided as you will be expected to eat beforehand.  However, if you want to feed me dorms brunch I would like that very much :).

The room is Haines A25.

Any Questions, Comments or Concerns?  Please email someone besides me.  Just kidding.  you can email me with questions, comments or concerns!

We will have a guest speaker at this ADT.  David Watson.  In blog form.

All Day Training (Nov. 2)

posted ‎‎Oct 27, 2008 2:35 PM‎‎ by Jeremiah Choi   [ updated ‎‎Oct 27, 2008 4:31 PM‎‎ ]

Mark the Date.  November 2nd.

This year's All Day Trainings are going to be pretty exciting, covering a very broad range of subjects.  I want to give you guys some information on it so you guys can have a better idea of what to expect.  We wanted to make these All Day Trainings much more purposeful.  So we're going to be really pushing interactive and experiential trainings, instead of trainings where you just sit and listen to someone speak.

We're going to be covering each aspect of the D, N, and A in the trainings.  Honestly, unless you go to the first one you won't really know what we're talking about, but a lot of us on the 411 team are really excited about this year and the trainings that God has been putting on our hearts.  It's going to be great, seriously, I think that it's going to be much more different and much more full than any of the ones we had last year.

I hope everyone is doing well.  The room for the training is Haines A25

The training will be starting PROMPTLY at 9 AM.  I know for College students this may be torture, but we have to be strict about the start time.  We want to make sure it starts and ends EXACTLY as we say it will, that way everyone will know what to expect each month for the all day trainings.  So PLEASE Be there at least 5-10 minutes early that way you will be there when we actually begin.  Our end time has yet to be determined, but we will have a consistent end time planned.  Don't worry it won't be into the night.  But expect the meeting to go from 6-8 hours total with a hour lunch break in the middle of it.

And.  As a last bit of advertisement.  Caleb said he will lead worship topless.  Maybe this is more of a reason to stay home and not come, actually.

SPAANK Benefit Concert

posted ‎‎Jun 1, 2008 1:03 PM‎‎ by Jeremiah Choi   [ updated ‎‎Oct 27, 2008 3:44 PM‎‎ ]

This year we have started a new organization at UCLA called SPAANK (Students Promoting Awareness About North Korea) - don’t mind the name. We are a student run organization dedicated to, well, promoting awareness about NK.

Because we are a new organization, we are planning a BENEFIT CONCERT FOR MAY 26TH 6:00 - 10:00 p.m. to reach as many people as possible and start a large and wide network of people that are aware and passionate about DOING SOMETHING for the suffering in North Korea.
