UCI R Seminar

Welcome

The R Seminar is an informal lecture series at UC Irvine that will discuss the use of the R system for statistical computing.

The talks are aimed at those interested in R and those who want to expand their "R-epertoire".  This likely includes grad students who use R in their classes and/or research, computer scientists who would like to check out what R is all about, and professors of quantitative classes.

Each "semina-R" will be roughly 30 minutes followed by discussion.  They will be held on Wednesdays at 12pm in Bren Hall, Room 2011, at UC Irvine.  See the calendar for specific dates.   Please check the Announcements page for updates, or subscribe to changes via this RSS feed.

We are still looking for volunteers who might be willing to share their expertise/experience on any of the following topics.  Or, if you're interested in a particular topic, please feel free to research it and present what you learned!
