History
The history of the Women's Club Ultimate Frisbee team at UCF (Sirens) started long before the team actually existed. Ultimate frisbee at UCF officially started with the Dogs of War, the original frisbee team at UCF and the current frisbee A-team. Upon inception in 2003, the Dogs of War grew rapidly and formed Havoc in 2007, the frisbee B-team. A few women showed interest in ultimate frisbee and the Dogs of War and Havoc decided that a women's team should be formed.

Fall 2008: Enter Tina H. and Melissa S. For about 3 months, these two were the only girls consistently showing up to frisbee practice with the hope of forming a women's team. Not satisfied with the spotty female turnout, the two held a meeting with about 14 interested girls, these women eventually joining to help form the UCF's women's frisbee team, Sirens.

Though it is only their first year as an ultimate team and many of the girls are new to frisbee, the team is looking forward to the upcoming tournaments and getting better at a sport they have all come to love.
