News: It's Summer! As a sports club, we're sort of on hiatus until Fall. But that doesn't mean you should be slacking in your training! Even though many of our members are away, you can still run, bike, and swim in your area. As far as local workouts go, the best thing is to check the ListServe. If you're going to do a workout, feel free to send out an email...and if you see one you're interested in, feel free to join! New & Prospective Members: Welcome to the TriKnights site. We're a group of students who like to keep fit and have fun by doing triathlons. We welcome all skill levels. It doesn't matter if you are a seasoned triathlete, have background in just one sport, or have never tried any of the three events; you will find people at your skill level to help guide and motivate you. Contact our president, Kyle, if you're interested, and ask him to add you to the List Serve, where you can find more information. Club Meetings: We aren't having any over the Summer. Check back here near Fall!
Elections: Click here. Practice Description: Our practices are optional, and any skill level is welcome to come. Even non-team members may come to workout with us. Officers of the club will have workouts available but you can do what you would like as long as you stay near the group. Please bring water and proper clothing to practices. Also check the website for cancellations or the Triknights ListServe email for news.
National Competitors: Congratulations to our Nationals participants. They braved a 26-hour drive to Lubbock, TX, to race in 53-degree water and air temperatures just slightly above freezing! Our men's team came in 47th out of 64, and our women's team came in 39th out of 40 (suck it, LSU!). Here are their times: Joseph Sindad: 168th place, 2:27:43 |
