We have updates the "Online resources" section with;

1) Marie Curie letter

As you may or may not be aware, the pay cuts imposed on Marie Curie Fellows earlier this year represents a breach of contract. The Irish Research Staff Association (IRSA) and the Irish Universities Association (IUA) have made formal representations to the relevant authorities, seeking an exemption from the pay cut for Marie Curie Fellows. As part of this process we are asking all Marie Curie fellows to send the attached letter to their respective Project Officers and to Ms. Liz Vesterlund (Marie Curie Actions Unit, European Commission). A similar letter is being sent from the Irish Research Staff Association (IRSA) to the Director-General for Research of the European Commission and also to the Head of the Marie Curie Actions Unit.

2) RSA-HR-UCD research meeting minutes
The RSA met with UCD research and HR on the 6th October to talk about our concerns with the RCF (researcher career framework).

AGM 20th October 2010

Our 1st RSA Annual General Meeting takes place on October 20th 1-2pm in C005 Health Sciences Centre. We have Dr. John Walsh speaking who is a member of the Irish Research Staff Association Universities Association and the chairperson of the Trinity Research Staff Association (http://www.irsa.ie/membership.html).

We will also be updating everyone in relation to the Researcher Career Framework (RCF).
