Short Bio: I received my PhD in 2009 from the Ohio State University, Computer Science and Engineering department. I was part of the Data Mining Research Lab advised by Prof. Srinivasan Parthasarathy at Ohio State. I am a recipient of the 2009 NSF Computing Innovation Fellowship. Throughout my fellowship year I worked with Dr. Kai Tan at the University of Iowa, Carver College of Medicine. I also worked with Dr. Christopher Workman at Technical University of Denmark in 2008. In 2010, I moved to Stanford University Genetics department to conduct research in labs of Anne Brunet and Julie Baker.
Research Interests: Scientific Data Mining and Computational Biology. In particular, I focus on the development of algorithms for integrating and mining diverse high-throughput genetic and epigenetic datasets. A list of my publications and a copy of my CV are provided.
