Hi everyone,
We hope everyone is doing well as we head into week 3. We will be
having our regular Dharma talk and meditation this tuesday at the
University Catholic Center (633 Gayley Ave) from 5:30PM-7:00PM. This
week and for the next few weeks Reverend Kusala will be speaking on
the Heart Sutra. The text of which can be downloaded from our resources page. We hope to see you all there!

Sunday. It was great seeing everyone there. We will be having our
meeting this week at the same time on Tuesday (October 6th) at the UCC

Hey everyone,
The UBA in cooperation with the University Buddhist Associations of
UCR and UCI will be having a bonfire this Sunday (October 4th) from
5PM-10PM at Dockweiler beach. If you are interested please RSVP to
eriku@ucla.edu by Friday. Rides will be available on a first come
first served basis. We hope to see you there!

Hey everyone, I hope you all have had a great summer. I would like to give a hearty Welcome Back returning students and Welcome to all the new Bruins! We just had the enormous activities fair which was a great success. We got a lot of interesest there so I hope to see a lot of new faces this year. Due to some technicalities in google's group system I need to send out invites to be on the mailing list (or else google marks us as a spam group) so if you have received one of those invites please accept to be put on the mailing list. If you have not received an email and would like to be on the mailing list or have any other questions please email us at ucla.uba.online@gmail.com. For everyone in the LA area we would like to tell you all about the grand opening of the Orange County Buddhist Education Center which is part of the International Buddhist Meditation Center. The grand opening will be on Sunday June 28th. The front of the Flyer is shown below and I have attached the PDF for the program to this announcement. I hope everyone is having a great summer so far!

Firstly I would like to thank everyone who came to Vesak Day this weekend. It was a great success and it was great to see the Kerchoff Grand salon filled! We will be having out usual meditation this Tuesday from 5:30-7PM at the UCC. Hope to see you all there!

Hey everyone,
I hope everyone has settled into the quarter. We will be having our usual meeting from 5:30-7:00PM at the UCC on Tuesday. There are two new ebooks avaliable for download on the resources page. The first is The Debate of Kind Milinda which reverend Kusala read to us last week. The second is The Noble Eightfold Path which Kusala reccomended as a good book on basic Buddhist practice. I hope you find these useful and interesting. In addition, be sure to save the date for our Vesak Day celebration this year. We will be having it on Saturday May 23rd from 11Am-2PM (doors open at 10:30 AM) and hope to see you there!
