SITE VISITS
In order to offer the student a comprehensive understanding of the city of Rome, site visits are organized and included in the educational program of the different courses. During the semester, there are various one-day tours to sites in the Rome area.

| ONE DAY DIDACTIC TOURS
Although
the program is based in Rome, the Rome Center arranges several visits
which are considered part of the program and curriculum. There are day
trips within the Lazio region. The excursions include transportation,
entrance fees to museums and the participation of a Rome Center
professor who leads the group.
Traditionally we plan the following
visits:
Ostia Antica
Hadrian’s Villa and Villa d'Este
Palazzo Farnese in Caprarola and Villa Lante
Vatican Museums (optional)

| OPTIONAL TOURS
The Rome Center organizes additional optional weekend tours led by one or two professors.
These tours will be subject to payment by the students.
Some optional tours may include the following:
