    Brainy Quotes!

If the human brain were so simple that we could understand it, we would be so simple that we couldn't.

The brain is a wonderful organ. It starts working the moment you get up in the morning and does not stop until you get into the office.

    January Events

posted Dec 19, 2011 12:44 PM by UAB ANST

    Greetings everyone!

Hope you all had a relaxing break.  It's a new semester and we have some great plans in store for UAB ANST.  Typically, our meetings will be held at 5:30 on the first Thursday of each month in Campbell Hall Room 260.  Seeing as the semester begins after the first week of January, we're going to hold this month's meeting on Thursday, January 12th, 5:30 pm.  We will be having Dr. Banos as our guest speaker, and he will be talking about the trials and tribulations of starting up a private neuropsychology practice.  This should be a fun and informative talk, so we hope that you all can make it!  As always, pizza and drinks will be served, so please bring your dollars!

This month's event will be a membership party!  Not all of us are official ANST members, so this will be a great opportunity to get it "off the back burner", start the year off right, and have an excuse to hang out with friends after.  The event will be held on Saturday, January 28, at 7pm at Josie's place.  Jacquie or I will be sending more details through email and it will be mentioned briefly at the beginning of our January meeting.  Hope that everyone can make it!

    All the Best,
    Josie Tyrer
