Meetings Information

Meeting Information

UAB ANST meets twice per month, unless otherwise specified. Monthly Meetings are informational sessions and topical (e.g., student presentations), while Monthly Events feature activities such as speakers.
 
 
Monthly Meetings:
 
The second Wednesday of every month
4:30 - 5:30 pm
Campbell Hall, room 204
Unless otherwise specified! 
 
Monthly Meetings consist of the following structure:
  • Call to Order: opening and sign-up sheet, welcoming of new members (2-3 minutes).
  • Minutes: coverage of what was done last meeting (5-10 minutes).
  • Forum: groups discussion of concerns and issues (15-20 minutes).
  • Topic: education or presentation (20-25 minutes).
  • Close: wrap-up and next meeting reminder (2-3 minutes).
