(UNIVERSITY OF THE THIRD AGE)

SUTTON BALDOYLE, DUBLIN NORTH EAST

U3A Sutton Baldoyle, Dublin North East,

meets at Baldoyle Library

Second Wednesday of every month from 10.45 to 12.45

What is U3A? : U3A stands for University of the Third Age. The term 'Third Age' signifies a new period of life that allows us to pursue new interests and activities which supports and promotes the concept of life long learning [i.e. triple ‘LLL’] continuous personal development.

The word 'university' in this context is not a university in the conventional sense but comes from the medieval meaning, a gathering or collective, where ''everyone teaches and everyone learns''

Each U3A group in Ireland is independent. We 'do our own ‘LLL’ [triple L].

U3A Sutton Baldoyle members come from all over the Dublin North East area.

Come along to our meetings, no formal qualifications to join, just enthusiasm and

you are keen to maintain an enquiring mind.
