Sources of Funding

There are a number of opportunities for not for profit entities to obtain funding in the form of grants for equipment or events at local, State, and Federal level.

The conditions attached to each type of grant may vary, so intending applicant U3As should examine the Fund's requirement against their needs. The available funds include:

Local

• Your Regional Council's Community Grants Program- most Regional Councils have a Grants Officer to assist with applications.

State

Two funds that you may find useful are:

• Jupiters Casino Community Benefit Fund
• Gambling Community Benefit Fund
