As on alternative/ complement to one of the U3A courses you may like to know that Farnborough Sixth Form College run "Pass IT on" sessions on a Monday (4:15 to 5:30) during term time excluding exam times. In these sessions student volunteers provide one-to-one help on your specific problems with computing and other "new technology"  You can attend whenever you like - every week if necessary, or just occasionally when you encounter a particular problem. The college asks that you contact then before attending for the first time, to help them match student numbers to expected attendees. Members who have attended these sessions have found them valuable and friendly. |
