Join Us

To join U3A Bundaberg, you will need to complete an enrolment form which is available from our office in Woongarra St. The form is printed on an envelope which you can use to enclose your membership fee; then simply pop it into the locked box at the front of the building.

Fee Structure

As of 2012, our membership fee is $30 per year or part-year, except for tutors, who are given a fee exemption in the year that follows their year of tutorship.

For attendance at courses, fees are charged where necessary on the principle of "user pays". Thus, for the majority of our courses, there are no fees charged. Where students receive photocopied documents as part of the course, a fee may be levied to cover costs and is payable at the first class of each term.

The computing courses all use equipment that is expensive to purchase, to maintain, and to upgrade. For those courses, a fee of $20.00 per term or $2.00 per session for a short course is charged in addition to any applicable photocopy fees. These fees are payable on enrolment.
