Prudhoe & District AGM . Members should be receiving their application forms plus Committee Nomination Forms very soon, many have been delivered.
I was hoping to arrange a Treasue Hunt on the same day, but have decided to pospone it to a future date owing to fuel costs and maybe an unavailability of fuel.

Fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Research. The charity we have been supporting for the last four years. A raffle will be held. Refreshments will be served including Strawberries and Cream.

" SHOW AND TELL AFTERNOON "
I would like members to bring something and talk about it for a maximum of 5 minutes. It could be a holiday souvenir, somethign old or interesting, in fact anything. A poem piece of prose or even a joke - I just want everyone to join in so it will be very informal and fun. Refreshments will be served.

Hi Members, Last year Penny Kenny's Grandaughter Caitlin gave a talk on her forthcoming visit to Chile,(a gap year) to teach children English. Below is a copy of the letter she sent Penny to forward to the U3A. Members kindly gave a donation as she had to raise £5,000 before she could travel.
