Arts & Enrichment: We'd like to give a big thank you to Cathy Poulin for her years of service on the A & E committee. She has recently handed over her programs to Laura Barton but will continue to assist as needed. We appreciate all of her help over the years with the 3rd grade programs! Thanks Cathy!
A&E programs are designed to expose the students to the arts and to augment the curriculums for each grade. Two of the programs coming in October include: Fun with Dinosaurs for the Preschoolers and Native American Perspectives for Grade 2. Please contact Terri DeFronzo (649-5572) with any suggestions or ideas for new programs.
WHO IS THE PTO? YOU ARE!! The Tyngsboro PTO is an organization made up of parents who wish to be involved in their children’s education, and in developing positive and open communication with teachers and school administrators. It is advisory in nature and works with the school administration, staff, and parents of Tyngsboro’s Elementary School and Middle School to enrich the learning experiences of our students by sponsoring educational and social programs that compliment their classroom curriculum. We host Roller Skating, Bingo Nights, a Welcome Back BBQ, and the Celebration of Learning. This year we will collect Box Tops for Education, run the TES Walking Club, and organize volunteers for all school events. If you have not yet joined the PTO, membership forms are available in the school office or on our website. http://sites.google.com/site/tyngsboropto Upcoming Events

TES News Room Parents: Thank you to all the parents that volunteered to become a room parent for their child's classroom. Your names will be forwarded on to the appropriate teacher and the teacher will contact you directly. We are still looking for room parent volunteers for the following teachers: Mrs. Moreau (Transition), Ms. Hunter (Special Ed), Mrs. Landry-Turck (2nd grade), Mrs. Palazzola (Preschool), and Mrs. Munroe (3rd Grade). Room parents help the teachers organize projects, make necessary copies, and act as liaison between the teachers and parents. We appreciate YOU! Catalog Fundraiser: Thank you to all that supported our fall catalog fundraiser with Genevieve's. All orders are expected back to the school in late October. If your order is too large for your child to carry on the bus, we will send a note home asking for you to stop by our "PICK UP NIGHT" at the school (date is still to be determined) to obtain your purchases. All orders that included the "Boston Coffee Cakes" will automatically be receiving the pick up notices due to the delicate nature of those items. Thank you again for making this a successful sale!
Congratulations to: Meghan Richardson, Dylan Gosselin and Christian Hall as they were the three winners in our Genevieve's fall fundraiser "lucky seller" raffle.
