School Year 2009-2010

As the 2009-2010 school year begins, we hope you have had an enjoyable summer and are looking forward to the new school year.  The PTO is a group of parents who work with the Elementary School and the Middle School to enrich the educational experience of our students by sponsoring programs that compliment the classroom curriculum.  We invite you to join us at our monthly PTO meetings.  The day and time for each meeting is published in the monthly PTO newsletter, which is sent via email.  Please provide your email below. Every September, the PTO runs our membership drive to enroll members and begin fundraising.  This year’s budget of $45,825.00 will be used to fund the following types of events:

·   Arts and Enrichment Programs: The majority of our budget is used to bring curriculum specific programs and speakers into our schools. Each grade level experiences at least one of these programs.

·   Bus Fees for Class Field Trips

·   Scholarships for 6^th Graders Attending Camp Bournedale

·   TES School Store

·   Staff Appreciation Luncheons

·   Scholarships for Graduating Seniors

·   Back to School BBQ

·   Celebration of Learning at the TES

Tentative PTO Meeting dates are: 8/26; 9/22; 10/28; 11/18; 1/27; 2/24; 3/24; 4/28; 5/26 & 6/16.
