BlackSMS let's you send hidden password-protected text messages. The name "BlackSMS" is due to the texts showing up as black chat bubbles in the iMessage app.
You can message your friends confident that no one will read them: Not your friends, nor the government, nor spy software (many of you probably didn't know that within five minutes someone can have complete access to your text messages).
"If you want to keep your text messages private, Black SMS is an app that provides a very simple method for doing so." - Lifehacker, Adam Dachis
The app utilizes a strong symmetric-key encryption algorithm so that the only way to decrypt a message is with the original password. A video explaining how to use the app is available at blacksms.net
You can also blacktext several people with one password for that group of friends.
Note: For those who are interested the app uses AES encryption along with a few extra algorithms of our own (specifically turning the password into a key and encoding the encryption onto the BlackSMS). AES is already a very strong symmetric-key encryption, so a hacker would first have to reverse-engineer our password to key algorithm and our blacksms encoding before attempting to brute-force the encryption (try every single combination for a password). Future versions of the app will also allow for passwords in other languages allowing for over 100,000 characters which would make brute forcing virtually impossible.

iShoot Hoops gives you the satisfaction of shooting hoops on your iPhone. Graphical, Fun, and Addicting. For a one time payment of $0.99, you would no longer need to drive to the nearest Basketball court - just shoot on your iPhone.
With iShoot Hoops, you have to swipe and flick the basketball into the basket. The game gets difficult because the board moves from side to side. To get more points, bounce the ball of the wall. You have thirty seconds and ten lives to score as many points as you can. Every time you miss, you lose a life.
iShoot Hoops even develops your timing skills, especially if you try getting points by bouncing off the wall. You have to know when to shoot and at what angle because the basket board is moving. Unlike some other shooting apps, iShoot Hoops uses complicated algorithms to measure the velocity and angle of your finger and creates accurate bounces and throws - this way, it actually works on skill and not just luck. The practice is recommended for “brain gym” and for developing accuracy in hand-eye coordination.
Developed to satisfy players, iShoot Hoops includes real sounds of Bouncing, Scoring, Swishs, and even Audience cheers.
Like a lollypop, it costs $0.99, but unlike a lollypop, it lasts.

My Dice has been recently submitted to Apple and will soon be on the App Store
Have you ever wanted to play a board game but found out that you’ve lost the dice? Well now there’s a solution, you can use “My Dice” to virtually roll dice for any use - even to play a dice game.
Simply shake the iPhone or tap the button to roll. Shaking the iPhone to roll makes it feel like real dice. Furthermore, when you roll the dice, there's an animation of the dice rolling together with a sound effect of rolling dice. This makes the entire experience more realistic and delightful – and you don’t even have to look for the dice after rolling.
“My Dice” is a must for EVERY iPhone User. You know you'll eventually find yourself in need of dice - whether it's deciding between a chocolate flavored ice cream and a vanilla flavored one, or just to decide whether you should keep on working or go outside for a jog.
_______________________________
“My Dice” uses a complicated algorithm to achieve the most random results as possible.
You can shake the iPhone for a long period of time for a “luckier” (different) result.
External speakers are required for an iPod Touch 1st Generation in order to hear the sound.

iHide has recently been approved by Apple and is now on the App Store
Get It Now (iTunes)
iHide is a simple and fun game where there is a hidden square/circle inside a large rectangle that covers most of the screen. You need to tap that hidden square to gain points. You have 40 seconds to find it as many times as possible (every time you press it, it moves to another place). iHide also shows a glow when you find the square as well as increase your score. It also plays a sound that makes the whole game more enjoyable. With iHide, you can compete with your friends for fun and see who gets the highest score or just try to beat your own record. (External speakers/Headphones are needed to hear the sound in first generation ipods) |

RiskDice Shaker has recently been approved by Apple and is now on the App Store. In RiskDice Shaker, you roll dice virtually, making the game of Risk more fun and go by much faster; there are much less arguments, and you can actually finish the game in a timely manner.
You may either shake your device or give it a jolt, as in real life, or simply tap the "Roll Dice" button to roll the dice. For more fun, you may also shake the device harder or tap it a few times, to result in several rollings at once. The app would give you the final result that would be the one to count.
RiskDice Shaker is a very realistic dice rolling app. There are visual effects, sound effects, and motion effects combined. You literally 'throw' the dice to roll, there are sound effects of rolling dice which makes it feel real, and there is an animation of the dice rolling.
The Risk Dice Shaker App allows you to eliminate one red or one white die (or both) by simply tapping the right-hand die in its color group.
RiskDice Shaker calculates the result of the each roll and tells you how much reinforcement each side lost in the game.
Simple, easy, and fun to use, Risk Dice Shaker is a must have app for any Risk player. |
