Squadron Meeting Times are Sundays at 1400 hrs (2:00 PM) Weekly
SEP 2011 Due to school starting back this fall, we are moving our meeting times back to Sundays at 1400 hrs (2:00 PM). This will allow our cadets to participate in school activities and give them time during the week to concentrate on their school work. Also the unit is starting a program for cadets called the Cyber Patriot Program in which they have the opportunity to learn about how to protect computer networks from cyber attacks. If you are a young person in the 9th through 12th grades who are interested in this excellent opportunity within the Civil Air Patrol, please come by the unit at 1650 Airport Drive, Building 105, Cleburne, TX during our weekly meeting, to learn more about this excellent opportunity. MAY 2011 We would like to congratulate all of the cadets in their advancements. Remember, May is Veteran appreciation month. Remember we have R2R this Friday night. Come honor our Service Heroes. Click here for Flyer. February Congratulations to Cadet 2nd Lt Ghenesis Cordero and Cadet 2nd Lt Joseph Gould! They are the Johnson County Composite Squadron TX-131s first Cadet Lt.s in a decade! A big hoorah for Cadet SMSgt Sergio Chairez who is hot on their tail to be the third Cadet to achieve 2nd Lt status in the coming months. We would also like to introduce C/Amn Denise Hernandez. She joined in January 2011 and has already achieved Airmen status. We have a great group of Cadets and look forward to watching them grow and develop into great leaders. January 2011 Cadet CMSgt Ghenesis Cordero and Cadet MSgt Sergio Chairez returned energized from Winter Encampment at Camp Swift near Austin, TX. Both Cadets attended the Advanced Training School, concentrating on leadership and teamwork. Be watching for our next 2nd Lt! We have two that will be promoting in February.
