Hi, my name is Des, and this is my personal portfolio. Its title is taken from a song by the now-defunct Fairways. No particular meaning there; I just liked the alliteration.

I'm far too lazy to include a proper resume (really, who reads these things) but I'm twenty-two this year (2010). If I play my cards right, I will soon graduate with a degree in Philosophy and English Literature from the University of Edinburgh. Over summer, I live in a quiet apartment in central Singapore.  I like: cats, 50s/60s music and apple tea. I'm not so keen on: Mondays, cucumber and pursuits involving mathematics.
