How to find friends on Twitter

How to find friends on Twitter
go to twitter-nvitations/find  If you already have friends and family that are already using twitter you can find them with this search engine.

Search for people to follow with your same interests
Search for people or follow people  who have posted tweets in areas of your similiar  interests. If you are talking about Star Trek you can do a search for “Star Trek”  or " Trekies" and the people that are having those conversations will show up for you to connect with them. Click the “Follow” button below their photos. Some of them will follow you back and some of course some won't. Don’t take it personally if some of them don’t.

Tweet Works
Check out  Tweetworks. If you are not necessarily into looking to connect by “following” people at random, It is great for you if you  rather just hop in and out of conversations that interest you. You’ll want toTweetworks offers threaded conversations in groups within Twitter…think of it like a chat room on steroids. Best of all it forwards your tweets from Tweetworks into the much larger stream of conversations going on with Twitter so if you want to talk about “Video Blogging” maybe someone will do a search and find you on Tweetworks or will follow you by finding that tweet. Either way Tweetworks is probably one of the easiest and fastest ways to get started with Twitter.

Follow people who are relavant to your field of business
Follow colleagues in related companies and in your industry. Follow relevant brands and journalists and pundits in your market, even those who compete with you. It’s polite to follow people. And by following people you are creating an ecosystem—people will see who you are following and consider those as suggestions for users they should follow as well.

Be sure to answer all of your mentions
People will refer to your company’s account as if it were a person. You should reply to tweets that mention you, when relevant. This will give your account more personality and will make those people feel engaged directly with your  brand. For example, a person might ask you a question directly: “@wondime Hi. Do you know when Microsoft will be launching their  windows media upgrades? Thanks.” “@twitgurureview not saying, but we hope it’s with the next major software release!”
