Competition for Novice horse or rider hunter teams over hurdles, max. height 2’6’’, optimum time.

10.  2^nd Field’s Choice

Wendy Lyons Memorial Class

Open competition over terrain of choice for teams that prefer to take their time.

Rules:

1.      Two or more riders constitute a team.  Entry fees are $15.00 per rider per class.

2.      Complete one entry form per team. Release Form must be signed at Entry Secretary’s Table.

3.      Report to timers table when ready.  All fast classes will be run first.  After that all classes are welcome to the starter’s table.

4.       All riders must wear protective headgear at all times when mounted

5.      Proper hunting attire is requested of all riders. Juniors may substitute ratcatchers.

6.   Anyone under 18 must have a signed statement of parental/guardian approval of participation at the entry table.  Any rider under 10 must have an accompanying adult to ride with them for safety purposes. No entry fees required for accompanying adult.

7.      Course times are preset within 48 hours of the event. 

8.      Jumping classes placed by optimum time.

9.      COURSE MAY BE WALKED DAY OF THE EVENT ONLY.

10.  Times are calculated from the first rider across the start until the last rider across the finish.

I attest that I am in good physical health and have sufficiently trained for the hunt activities.  In consideration of this I hereby for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators waive and release any and all claims for damages I may have against Carrollton Hounds Inc., Ships Quarters Farm, Dr. and Mrs. John Ruth, Gary Clark, Windswept Farm, hunt sponsors, their representatives, successors and assignees for any and all injuries that may be suffered by me or my horse as a result of participation in this hunter pace or any hunt activity.  I HAVE READ THIS RELEASE INFORMATION AND CERTIFY MY COMPLIANCE BY MY SIGNATURE BELOW.
