I am now 40 years old and work as a small animal veterinarian here in Copenhagen, Denmark.
I was born in New Zealand and qualified as a vet there in 1992.
I have worked as a veterinarian in 3 different countries, and in 5 different clinics over the last 18 years.

One of my first memories as a child is playing with the kittens from our siamese cat Selena. I have always loved cats, and have been lucky enough to share my life with some very special felines, that have returned the love I have given them.

I never thought that I would become a breeder, but this has also been an incredibly rewarding experience. Birman kittens are the ultimate weapon of mass adoration!

DK Twinkelstjerne is an obvious spelling mistake, but comes from the first names of my ex-fiancee Tamara Winkel and the danish word for star, stjerne. Tamara was my twinkle-star back then, when we bought Boris and first started thinking about breeding Birmans.

So here I am, with the mighty Boris, Bellis and Bellatrix, breeding some very special cats.
