We are a group of students at Thompson Valley High School. We participate in a Robotics competition known as FIRST Robotics Competition. Each year we go to a local kick-off in order to find out the year's game. From that point, we have six weeks to completely build a fully functioning robot that can accomplish as much of the tasks as possible or to gain as many points as possible. This is not a cheap everyday competition but each year is a once in a lifetime chance to build friendship, team work, lifetime experience, and the future all at the same time. 

 

The entrance fee to one regional event is $6,000 and each regional after that is an additional $5,000. That doesn't even include the cost of all the parts you need to build the robot itself! 

This last year our team spent a total of around $13,000, most of which was donated. We thank all of our sponsors for all of their help not only from this last competition season but from all the years before as it would not be possible without them. We put our hands together for:
