                    LOCATION: The venue was the Chonburi Provincial Stadium, Chonburi province. This stadium was just recently
                                     renamed " The Institute of Physical Education Chonburi Campus Stadium", 
                                    The name is often split into two words "Chon Buri."
                                    The town of Chonburi is about 50 kms from the tourist destination town of Pattaya.

                                     Here is a map. The stadium is located just north of Chonburi town at Ban Si Pha Lo.
                                    The town of  Chonburi is a fairly quick (90+ minutes) bus ride from the SE part of Bangkok
                                    on a modern expressway.

                    SCHEDULE: Here is the event schedule by day and time.

                   TEAM MANAGERS' MEETING: The team managers meeting was held Thursday March 10, 2 PM
                              at the Witaya Borikarn building, first floor meeting room. It is near the stadium - here is a map:


                    ENTRY APPLICATION: The submission deadline has passed, on Jan 31, 2011.
                               Entry fees are first event 400 Baht, each additional event 200 baht. The relay team fee is 800 Baht.
                               The maximum number of solo (non-relay) events that can be entered is four solo events.

                                Entries were received only by national teams (as a unit) and not individually.

                    LODGING & TRANSPORT: The TVAA recommends that reservations be made through a travel agency.

                                Daily transportation to/from the competition venue should also be arranged by a travel agency.

                                This travel agency has assured the TVAA that they will keep charges low for our visiting athletes.

                                Pattaya, 50 kms south of Chonburi, has many good hotels but it is advised NOT to stay in Pattaya
                                during the meet as Pattaya is a bit too far to travel daily. However, you may well decide to stay in Pattaya
                                after you finish competing.

                                Ms Chaleosri stresses that team managers arrange team accomodation and transport with a travel agency.
                                However, If team managers still need assistance, then email your requirements and the TVAA will
                                try to find a solution if possible, i.e., such as helping the team manager locate a travel agency.
