I can meet in your home, on your college campus, or at a public library. Lessons at home are easy and convenient, but keep in mind that if your house is crowded or filled with distractions, it can be worthwhile to find a place in a library or on campus to study regularly! RatesDepending on location, my rates are $30-35/hr. I recommend two hour lessons for most students, but I can work around your schedule. There may be a travel fee if you need to meet much more than half an hour away from me. Remember that a library at a halfway point is always an option. Please note that if you are a no-show to a lesson, or cancel within 24 hours, I will bill for one hour. If you absolutely can't make a
lesson, try to call as soon as you can; I am sympathetic about
last-minute emergencies, just please be considerate!
University course students should bring their own books. High school students may be working out of their own books, or we
may use workbooks and other supplemental materials. The family can
supply those, or I can provide them. In the case of test-prep students,
I can supply all necessary materials.
For all materials that I supply, you will be billed normal retail
cost. This is only a significant cost in the case of test-prep courses. |
