![]() To drive in Maryland, you must have a valid driver's license. Each state in the United States has their own driver's license and they are valid throughout every state in the United States. The Maryland driver's license
is given by the Maryland Vehicle Administration. If you have brought a driver's license with you, be sure it is valid. Check the time limits below. After the time limit is over, you must get a Maryland driver's license.

The fee for a Maryland driver's license is 50 USD. You must also take a short 3-hour Drug & Alcohol class. Locations for this class are available in the ELI office Literature Center. The MVA Offices nearest to the Towson University are in Baltimore City, Glen Burnie, Bel Air, and Essex. They are open from Monday to Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. - noon.
