Walk to cure Valley Fever, Disease of the Southwest Arizona's Problem needs an Arizona Solution Due to the winter storm that hit just as we were setting up for the walk, we all agreed to "Walk in Spirit" on March 18. Yeah!!! Volunteer efforts raised $56,883 for the Valley Fever Center for Excellence in 2010!!!! And we hope that our efforts in 2012 will be even more successful! The Valley Fever Center is so grateful to each and everyone who enabled the 2010 walk in Tucson to be a reality. What can't be measured is the increased awareness the 10/10/10 walk brought to our cause AND the in-kind gifts and donations which enabled the Valley Fever Center for Excellence to save on expenses so that an event of this magnitude was possible. Let's do it again, Tucson!

Registration fees do not qualify as a tax deductible donations. Additional donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Canine companions are welcome! Especially Valley Fever survivors. Come try your dog's paw over a mini agility course with weaves, tunnels and jumps, and our rally and obedience course.
Bring lots of treats to help your dog have fun with all the obstacles! All dogs must be leashed.
Tickets for Rally, Obedience, and Agility Mini-Fun Courses
1 Turn for $5 or 3 Turns for $10 All proceeds benefit the Valley Fever Companion Animal Fund. Please bring your own lawn chairs so you can sit to watch the dogs go through the mini-fun runs. They will be fascinating to watch!
Our canine friends are welcome to participate in the walk as long as they are on a leash at all times in accordance with Pima County Animal Control law, and all droppings must be picked up. Owners are responsible for liability of the actions of their pets. If you will be bringing dogs for the walk, please be prepared to pick up after them.
Registration includes an official Walk for Valley Fever cap for each person and bandanna for each dog.

The Valley Fever Center for Excellence at the University of Arizona provides education and support to physicians and the general public, and needs funds to continue research into a new drug to treat, a vaccine to prevent, & new diagnostic tests to more accurately diagnose this disease. Proceeds from this walk will benefit the Valley Fever Center for Excellence.
