or e-mail info@vfever.org Valley Fever (coccidioidomycosis) is a growing disease in Arizona and the desert Southwest with 60% of all cases occurring in Arizona between and including areas around Tucson up the 1-10 corridor to Phoenix. The Valley Fever Center for Excellence at the University of Arizona provides education and support to physicians and the general public, and needs funds to continue research into a new drug to treat, a vaccine to prevent, & new diagnostic tests to more accurately diagnose this disease.
