Announcements:
  • 11/19/09: The deadline for the sparse homework (originally due today) is extended to Tuesday 11/24. We will have more presentations and discussion then. If you have not presented yet, note that you only have a limited number of chances left. (Recall that class participation is 50% of your grade.)

  • 11/17/09: Update to HW: sparseHW.txt
Note that for Thursday's homework, the way to turn in your assignment is to update your cvs repository on landau (5399-Fall09), add a directory with your name or login name, add your homework files under this directory, and commit your changes. You'll need to use "cvs update", "cvs add" and "cvs commit" to do these steps. There is a link to a cvs wiki with documentation on our Useful Links page.

  • 11/13/09: Here is the next homework assignment: sparseHW.txt
The first part, which we started last time in class, is due Tuesday 11/17.
The second part is due Thursday 11/19.
