dvd player

An idea regarding "DVD player" - Inspired by
1. The evolution of Audio: Nowadays DVD.movie(VOB format)
         ~the relatively older Audio CD, which separated as tracks.
    Gradually, during the past years, the standard audio media
         (650MB.CD, now compact as an USB key) contains hundreds songs of MP3.

2. Digital photo kiosk equipped with [variety memory cards reading(vMcr)] capability.

3. Technologies developed well that all video formats(ex: featured 精選節目) easily displayed via PCes.

4. However, if not connect to cable/wireless TV vendors(just as many offices@North America),
      those public places(ex:任何有客戶在等待的處所,如車站、醫院...etc.)
      equip with [standalone DVD-player(sDp)] to show videos on TV.
    How soon we can have "enhanced sDp", which not only display regular DVD, plus:
     (as MP3 machine)It best plays all video formats(as data files@DVD, or via vMcr/USB2 port:) to TV !

A similar(but not perfect yet) product: 數位相片播放器(可更新韌體).
- Luckily its functions can be enhanced via "firmware updated" that perhaps someday more deserved $spent.
For example, contents of 3 regular single DVD presented belows.
I tried put \02 - Polar Bears' Plea-- good for KIDs\VIDEO_TS as \VIDEO_TS
(ie. on root of DVD, which shown well on any standalone DVD player now),
then as its size's just 3.56 gigaB... 875MB's \Meet The Facts--for public in general\VIDEO_TS
suitable burned as \VIDEO_TS\VIDEO_TS (ie. as a sub folder) under it.
Such configurations(4,340,434 bytes or 4239MB- actually, even w/space for ~250MB video file)
definitely permit all parts displayed on PC once proper software installed.

On June/21/2009, some configured/organized files for burn as DVDs.
A freeware(XXCOPY, usually used as [ (dos_box)>xxcopy /s/h/r/a z:\tip\*.* ] to copy all)
sooner copy huge files-eg. local hard disks speed high as 600~3000MB/min, cf:
"~1.4MB/s on USB-8Gkey via usb2_port@NB", "tipping points"(3,212,402,688 bytes)on
XP_hd@NB xxcopied to another XP_hd@desktop in 2354 seconds(= 81.89 MB/min.) via a router.
