Chris Schornak Memorial Eagle Scout

Scholarship Fund

 

Army Staff Sgt. Christopher J. Schornak, 28, of Hoover, Alabama.

Sergeant Schornak died in Baghdad, Iraq, when his dismounted patrol was engaged by enemy forces using small arms fire. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Hood, Texas.

Killed in Action on February 26, 2006.

 
Chris earned his Eagle with Troop 75 in 1996. 
 
We currently have $9,000 in donations and pledges. When we reach approximately $20,000, we will be able to establish a perpetual annual Scholarship of $1,000. The Fund is accepting donations. These may be sent in care of
