Fundraising

You can easily help Troop 59 by collecting aluminumcans and aluminum (and copper, etc.) scrap metal (for example, aluminum lawn and beach chair frames, window and storm door frames, soda cans, etc.)

You can bring your aluminum cans (preferably in plastic bags) and small aluminum scrap items to our troop meetings.  Just leave them near Mr. Schmidt's van, or ask an adult for help. For large aluminum scrap items, you should make arrangements with Mr. Schmidt to drop them off at his house.
 
This is an easy, simple and environmentally helpful fundraiser.  Please consider participating if you are able.
 
 
How to test if the metal is aluminum: Get any magnet, and if the magnet sticks, it isn't aluminum. If it doesn't stick, it is most likely aluminum.
