Hello All, The Troop's annual Red &
White is three weeks away and for anyone that does not know i am once
again creating the Red & White Slide Show. To make the slide show
that best it can be I need any and all pictures that have been taken in
the past year. Whether the pictures were taken at the: meetings,
events, and/or camp-outs. You name it, I need it. The most easiest,
direct, and my preferred way to get them to me is by handing me a CD/DVD
with your pictures on it at a troop meeting. You can also email me the
pictures by replying to this email with the attached pictures, if all of
your pictures cannot fit in one email send as many as needed. So if you
have any pictures of our scouts in action (whether they are being
proActive or nonActive) get them to me
as soon as possible, so I don't have to edit the whole slide show the
day before. That's a good point so in a effort to prevent last minute
editing I'm going to set the cut off date for picture submissions on
March 1st, the last meeting before the Red & White. The more
Pictures I receive, the better the slide show will be at representing
the amount of activity our troop and scouts have participated in this
past year. Don't forget, Pictures A.S.A.P.

Hey All,
Don't forget that this Tuesday, the 21st, we will be having our Christmas Party. From scouts in the Patriot Patrol (Aran's patrol) we ask that you
bring snacks. The scouts in the British Patrol (Mark's patrol) are to bring drinks; one 2 liter bottle from each boy ( Soda,
Juice, water, etc.). Please respond back to me so I know what you are
bring. There is also the opt-in gift exchange: $10, no flashlights, and scout related. Again, the Christmas Party is this Tuesday at the regular time
and if you/your son is not sure what patrol he is in just check out the
new scout page on http://troop54.org/ . Can't wait to see you there!

The next meeting is Winter Camping Review Night. I'm going to need older
scouts to help bring in winter gear, to explain, give advice, and share
anecdotes so to teach the new scouts about what is needed for the
winter time and to help refresh our older scouts minds. Also, if any
leaders want to give the own advice that to would be great! If you have
any questions please contact me.
Hope to see you all at the meeting!
Thank You,

The next scout meeting, which is on the 26th, is Pumpkin carving night! So to participate you'll need to get a pumpkin, carving tools, and newspaper ( to help make less of a mess). As with every year "title" awards for scariest pumpkin, most scout-like pumpkin, etc. So bring your pumpkin and lets have a fun time! *also this is a class B event*
