January 31st, the troop will be touring "Precision Global" in Travelers rest as one of the requirements for the Robotics Merit Badge. This means there will be NO regular meeting at the church, we will only be meeting at the site. If you wish to go, you must be signed up with Mr. Bennett no later than the end of the meeting on January 24th. Also, upon arrival of the plant, you must be wearing your class "A" shirt. Those not in uniform will not be able to tour the site. Please see Mr. Bennett if you have any questions. Our campout in February is flying in Georgia. Because of the nature of the outing, we will need a exact head count of those scouts going. If you wish to you, you must be signed up with Mr. Raven no later than the end of the meeting on January 31st (the trip to Precision Global). If you are NOT signed up, we cannot guarantee that you will get to fly. Sunday February 5th is scout Sunday. This is when we show Devenger Road Presbyterian Church just how much we appreciate them taking care of us. ALL scouts are highly encouraged to attend the worship service that morning. Please make all efforts to do so. Summer camp is fast approaching. We will be at camp June 24-30th. All scouts that are going need to make a $50 deposit to hold their place. This needs to be paid no later than March 6th. Also, don't forget that the camp requires a new physical each year. If you have had a physical since July 1st of 2011, please get a form from Mr. Raven, have it filled out and signed, and returned to Mr. Raven ASAP. |
