So that you Scout can get the most out of Summer Camp at Owassipe Scout Reservation, we strongly encourage parents to attend the Summer Camp Parent Meeting which will be held on May 15th at 7:00pm at the Drucker Center.
Owassipe Summer Camp
It is now time again for Owassipe Summer Camp. For our new Scouts, it is a chance to join the Pathfinder program; earn many of the requirements of Tenderfoot, Second Class and First Class; and enjoy your first time at summer camp. For veterans of the last couple of years, it is a chance to earn merit badges toward Star, Life and Eagle. Our more senior Scouts high advanture and more.
Date: July 8th to July 14th
Location: 9900 Russell Road Twin Lake, MI 49457
Depart: TBD Sunday, July 8th from Home Depot / North Ave. Please be on time!!!
Arrival: TBD on Saturday, July 14th at Home Depot / North Ave.
Cost Per Scout: $340.00**Cost per Adult: $235.00 (excludes Owassipe Program fee but includes other items).
** Cost includes $260 council camp fee, $25 for incidentals, $5 for tubing, $30 for Silversides and $20 for a Troop 1 T-shirt.
Extra Money: Scouts need extra money for the Trading Post, Programming materials and Merit Badge fees.
T-shirts: If you want to buy additional T-shirts or just buy a T-shirt, please check the appropriate box and pay a cost of $20 per T-shirt.Registration: https://www.signmeup.com/84132.
BSA Medical Forms
All Scouts and Adults will need to have completed a medical form for themselves. Please use the following links to get your forms. Forms A & B and Form C will all need to be completed for each Scout or Adult.

May 8th Meeting and Upcoming Events

Our next meeting is next Tuesday, May 8 from 7-8:30pm. We will continue working on Owasippe planning for the summer. If you wish to start woking ahead or review the information her are are few links:
Patrol Leaders Council
There will be a PLC Meeting before the troop meeting starting at 6:30pm.
****Patrol Leaders should bring their 3 ring binders!

Pre Meeting Requirement Questions, Review and Sign Off
Staring at 6:00 - 7:00 one or more adult leaders will be available to help Scout with any questions they may have including advancement issues and questions, requirement sign off and approvals or starting Merit Badges.
We also welcome any parents who may have questions about the troop, rank advancement or Merit Badges.
