Wait a minute, you still think that you are safe? Well, think again, especially if you have a retirement plan depending on the economic realities (shall we call it economic disaster?). Only if you are a Federal or State employee you may consider your retirement with a smile, unless you lose your job in the future due to budget constriction. They will fire you and hire a less expensive employee anytime they can. I saw that happening many times. Hey, wake up; it is an economic war outside; the law of the jungle prevails.

When your retirement is gone, what do you do? Go live in Timbuktu because it is cheaper? Maybe you have a better idea; you go to Wal-Mart as a greeting person until you are 100 years old. That is up to you, not fun to me. Oh! I forgot; you could collect food stamps. I am not joking, like millions, you just lost all (or part of) your retirement.  

I do not worry because I have financial reserve, will you say. Ok, great, congratulations. You survived the market crash and the real estate disaster. Now, do you know how much capital you need to have if you want to live, let us say, on $4,000 per month when you retire (plus your Social Security, if any!). You need to have $700,000 capital invested at 7% interest rate. Do you have it? Yes, congratulations. You do not need to read any further (unless you want more).

In life, most people react and some act. All around me, I see acquaintances and friends doing nothing and waiting for the mud to hit their face. They hope to be spared. That’s deadly wrong!

Take control of your retirement today, look around, find another source of income.  Hey, wait a minute, that’s easier said than done, as you will tell me. You are right. Simple as that. Another simple rule, an honest and good business requires some capital investment and work to succeed. Everything else is probably a scam.

Even if I found the business I want, I know it is very hard to find customers. Well, that may be your next comment. Right? You are right, finding customers is the hardest and most costly thing to do. You can buy leads, they are expensive and…….they are not customers yet ……and  may never be.
