Family moved to Nigeria when I was six months old and by the age of 21 had either lived or spent time on six continents. Was Vice-Captain of swim team at boarding school, was also member of the cross country and rugby teams. Ran and played soccer after leaving school just to stay fit and to satisfy my competitive streak. Arrived in Houston,Texas in 1987, moved to Rockwall in 1993 and took part in my first Triathlon in 1996 at the Metroplex Sprint in Grand Prairie. Been hooked ever since. I am working on running a marathon on every continent and am three down, four to go. My ultimate aims include taking part in the World Ironman Championships in Hawaii and doing at least one 100 mile Ultrathon run. |
